Baby Loss Awareness Week is an event led by charity SANDs (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death) in collaboration between more than 40 charities – It takes place from 9th to 15th October every year.

The event’s principle aim is to highlight the devastating, but often overlooked impact on families of a stillbirth, or of losing a baby during pregnancy. It provides an opportunity for parents, their families and friends to remember their precious babies who have died and to share their stories.

Sadly, cloudThing employee Krishna Kaur has personal experience of this tragic issue, you can read Krishna’s heart-breaking story here.

To raise awareness of the event Krishna decided to fund-raise for the charity SANDs by serving some delicious home-cooked Indian dishes to fellow colleagues a.k.a cloudThinger’s.

To support this fundraising initiative cloudThing agreed to match the amount raised, and we are delighted to announce that £700 will be donated to this good cause.
